We’re the Original Creator of ‘Garaetteok Day’!
11월 11일, 빼빼로 대신 가래떡을 나누는 문화가 안랩에서 시작되었다는 사실, 알고 계셨나요?
Did you know that the tradition of sharing garaetteok (Korean rice cakes) instead of Pepero (similar to Pocky) on November 11th started right here at AhnLab?
2003년 안철수연구소 시절부터 우리는 전통 간식인 가래떡을 나눠 먹으며 안랩만의 특별한 기념일을 만들었습니다.
Since 2003, every November 11th, we have been sharing this traditional snack, creating a unique AhnLab tradition.
2006년 농림축산식품부(농림부)가 11월 11일을 가래떡데이로 공식 지정하면서, 국민 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 이벤트가 되었습니다.
Then, in 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs officially designated November 11th as ‘Garaetteok Day’, turning it into a celebration everyone in Korea can enjoy.
