안랩-SITE 합작법인 체결식

 

2024년, 안랩과 사우디아라비아 보안기업 SITE의 합작법인 ‘Rakeen(Digital Fortification for Information Technology Company)’이 설립되며 글로벌 사업 확장의 중요한 이정표가 세워졌습니다.

In 2024, AhnLab reached a major milestone in global expansion by establishing "Rakeen (Digital Fortification for Information Technology Company)," a joint venture between AhnLab and the Saudi Arabian cybersecurity company SITE.

 

그 시작은 2023년 봄, 해외 컨설팅사로부터 받은 소셜미디어 메시지였습니다.

The story began in the spring of 2023, with a social media message from an overseas consulting firm.

 

링크드인을 통해 수신한 사우디의 최초 컨택 메시지

 

“중동의 한 기업이 글로벌 파트너를 찾고 있다”는 메시지는 곧 ‘RSAC 2023’에서의 첫 미팅으로 이어졌습니다. 컨설팅사와 대면 미팅을 성공적으로 마친 안랩은 솔루션 소개, 기술 데모, 수개월의 실사와 계약 조건 협의, 협상 단계를 거쳤습니다.

The message—“A company in the Middle East is looking for a global partner”—led to the first meeting at RSAC 2023, the largest global cybersecurity conference held in the U.S.  After a successful face-to-face meeting with the consulting firm, AhnLab moved forward with solution introductions, technology demonstrations, several months of due diligence and contract negotiations.

 

마침내 2024년 10월, 1년 반 만에 안랩의 첫 글로벌 합작법인이 탄생했습니다.

Finally, in October 2024, after a year and a half, AhnLab launched its very first global joint venture.

 

한 통의 메시지에서 시작된 ‘Rakeen’의 여정은 사우디아라비아를 넘어 MENA(*) 지역까지 계속될 것입니다.

The journey of "Rakeen," which started with a single message, will expand beyond Saudi Arabia into the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
